Challenges:
1.Standard aluminum plates could not meet the flatness requirements.
2.Cutting standard aluminum plates often leads to deformation.
3.Standard aluminum plates are prone to significant deformation during subsequent CNC machining.
After several unsuccessful attempts with other suppliers, the customer approached us. Following sample testing, our 6061 ultra-flat aluminum plate proved to meet their needs. Its features are as follows:
1.Stress Relief Through Pre-Stretching: The plate underwent significant pre-stretching to fully release internal stress, reducing deformation during cutting and machining.
2.Excellent Flatness Control: The plate was meticulously leveled to achieve outstanding flatness.
3.Surface Polished to 400# Mesh: The surface was polished to a 400# finish, with strict control over thickness tolerances.
Measures Taken During Production:
1.Advanced Cutting Equipment: Utilized state-of-the-art cutting machines to ensure precision.
2.Stacked Cutting Method: Multiple plates were stacked for cutting, improving efficiency and minimizing deformation.
3.Use of New Saw Blades: Exclusively used new saw blades to achieve smoother cutting edges.
4.Optimized Machine Parameters: Fine-tuned all machine parameters to their optimal settings for best results.
Final Inspection Results:
The final inspection revealed a 99.99% pass rate. The following tests were performed:
1.Thickness and Dimensional Tolerance Check: Ensured all dimensions met specifications.
2.Flatness Test: Verified the plates met stringent flatness standards.
3.Surface Roughness Check: Confirmed smoothness and consistency of the polished surface.
4.CMM Sampling Inspection: Used a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) for sampling inspection, ensuring the aluminum plates met quality requirements.
